Rogier studied horn and school music at the Royal Conservatory in The Hague and composition/arranging at the Rotterdam Conservatory. He regularly writes for orchestras and ensembles such as the Gelders Orkest, Het RO-theater, Toneelgroep Oostpool, the Residentie Orkest, and the Metropole Orkest. Additionally, he arranged for soloists like Karin Bloemen, Huub van der Lubbe, Chantal Janzen, Wouter Hamel, Ruben Hein, and Brigitte Kaandorp, among many others. In 2011, he composed the opening of the 5 May Concert on the Amstel, where he also created arrangements for Alain Clark and soprano Annemarie Kremer. Rogier composed and played the final composition during the Koningsvaart (2013) on the occasion of the Coronation of King Willem Alexander. In 2018, Rogier composed the music for the successful theater spectacle ‘De Stormruiter’ that played in Leeuwarden.
